If you’re a longtime reader, you’re probably familiar with our love for outdoor furniture and creating spaces in our projects where our clients can truly enjoy the indoor/outdoor lifestyle that California has to offer. For us, Serena & Lily is always a go-to for our outdoor dining, lounge, and poolside spaces. Today on the blog, we’re sharing allllll of our favorite Serena & Lily outdoor furniture and decor picks, including the exact pieces you know and love from our Marigold, Windward, and Spanish Canyon projects. So, if you’ve been eyeing a few pieces from the brand or are just in the market for an outdoor space upgrade, keep reading! We hope you love what we’ve picked.
First up in our outdoor roundup is our beloved Marigold project! This home was full of outdoor spaces where we really wanted to maximize functionality for our client. The front of the home included a gated front yard and patio area, brought to life by beautiful landscaping and the perfect Serena & Lily furniture picks. We wanted a large woven outdoor sectional to anchor the lounge space, and the Pacifica Corner Sectional was the perfect pick. The all-weather resin is ultra-durable – a must for outdoor furniture – while still maintaining that coastal and transitional woven style. Surrounding the fire pit, we also added two of the Capistrano Lounge Chairs – One of our absolute favorite outdoor chairs from Serena & Lily. A mix of throw pillows in white performance fabric and a floral pattern complete the look.
Our Marigold project also had an interior courtyard space that we wanted to turn into a sweet seating area, perfect for coffee in the mornings or a happy hour glass of wine. Last but not least, we added an outdoor dining area to the rooftop of the home, flanked with our go-to Riviera Dining Chairs. We love the timeless design that adds the prettiest pop of French style in a coastal outdoor space.

Next up in our outdoor furniture roundup is our recent Windward project! The standout space in this outdoor retreat is the dining area underneath the overhang that sits right off of the main living area of the home. Our clients love to entertain, so we knew we wanted a space that would be perfect for dinner parties, poolside summer barbecues, and everything in between. An oversized dining table is surrounded by the Pacifica Dining Chairs with striped cushions and coordinating Riviera Dining Armchairs. We love these chairs for their durability, especially for families with young children. Continuing with the warm grey hues, we added three Summerland Outdoor Bell Pendants that echo the woven pendants found throughout the interior of the home. These pendants mimic rattan, but are actually made of weather-friendly resin, making them perfect for outdoor use in any climate.
Off the pool, chaise lounges are draped with striped beach towels and a mix of patterned blue and white outdoor pillows. Both of these particular pillows are both UV and water-resistant, which are both features we always look for in poolside picks.

Last but not least, we’re highlighting our Serena & Lily outdoor furniture picks from our Spanish Canyon project. An expandable dining table was a must for this home, so that our clients would always have space for outdoor dinners or weekend get-togethers. The Crosby Expandable Table is a natural fit. First and foremost, it can seat up to 10 guests with the extender! Secondly, teak is always one of our go-to materials for outdoor furniture that will naturally resist water damage. You’ll recognize the same Pacifica Outdoor Dining Chairs from our Windward project – They’re a piece we keep coming back to! They’re perfect if you want the look of rattan, but are looking for something that will better withstand the test of time.
One of our favorite moments in this backyard space is the Outdoor Hanging Chair in one of the home’s mature trees. Can’t you just imagine reading a good book for hours on end in this chair? It’s reminiscent of summer getaways – A feeling we always love to recreate at home.
