Friday Faves Vol. 4

READ

If you’re anything like us, you’re dreaming of all the places in the world you want to go to when travel is safe again. This book will help scratch the travel bug — you’ll wanderlust through its pages.

EAT

This dish is the epitome of a healthy late-summer meal. It’s made with meatballs that are filled with half zucchini and is paired with a side of feta. Need way say more?!

LISTEN

We loved listening to every second of designer Sarah Sherman Samuel on the most recent episode of Second Life. She talks about her early career, how she made the transition to interior design, how passionate she is about the work she does, and so much more. If you have loved following along with her for years now or are brand new to discovering her work, it’s a great convo to tune in to!

STAY

This picturesque property known as Camp Wandawega is located lakeside in Wisconsin, and since its inception in 1925, has taken many forms: a speakeasy, vacation resort, church camp, etc. In its current life, it operates as a retreat that connects people to “the simple pleasures of simpler times.” It has the most beautiful vintage cabins and bunkhouses to stay in, not to mention, an unlimited array of activities like lake swimming, fishing, and hiking. Major childhood camp vibes here, and we cannot wait to book our stay.

SHOP

We’re all about trying new wine varieties over here, and we recently stumbled upon a line of low-sugar, clean wines called “The Wonderful Wine Co.” Even better than that? They come in curated packs of three, six, and twelve — making for a great gift (even for yourself!)
