Today’s post marks halfway through our #MGDxLaJolla launch, and it’s bittersweet. This is one project we never want to end! Last week, we shared the entryway, kitchen, and dirty kitchen of this modern La Jolla home. This week has been all about the dining room, living room, and office spaces! Today, we’ll be diving into the links and sources you need to recreate these spaces in your own home. Keep scrolling to see them all!
Dining Room
This dining room is the perfect combination of beautiful and functional. It feels like a formal space, but is comfortable enough for all of our clients’ family meals around the table! For a similar look, opt for a light oak dining table, angular black dining chairs, and upholstered end chairs. An abstract piece of art adds color, and a modern chandelier draws the eye upwards in the space.

Living Room
This living room design was all about creating a space for our clients that was comfortable and durable enough for life with three little boys! For this look, an oversized L-shaped sectional takes center stage, while upholstered swivel chairs and a leather ottoman add extra seating. Pops of blue in throw pillows and art are a tie-in to the coastal location, and the shelves are filled with fun collected items.

Office
Last but not least, let’s shop this office design! Touches of leather on the desk chair and lounge chairs add warmth to the space, and a subtle striped rug adds a comfortable layer to the limestone floors. An oversized piece of abstract art and layered shelf decor make the space feel personal!
