You’ll want a rug that’s low-pile and easy to clean, in case of those aforementioned spills! Next, we look for a color palette that’s neutral (but never boring)! A subtle stripe, vintage-inspired pattern, or even plaid can add so much visual interest to your kitchen design. Last but not least, pay attention to the size of the rug. Runners tend to work best in long spaces, like in between an island and your main cabinetry. Be sure to measure and order the correct size for your space!
