We’re back with another “perfect pairs” post for you all! This time, we’re tackling the kitchen space. While we often opt to continue wood flooring into our kitchen designs, we do occasionally love a good floor tile and backsplash tile combination to differentiate the space. For today’s post, we tapped one of our senior designers to pull a few kitchen tile combos with that in mind. Whether you’re looking for more muted options or love a patterned tile moment as much as we do, we know you’ll find something to love below!
When selecting kitchen tile combinations, look for tiles that provide contrast to each other. They should be different shapes, dimensions, and colors. For example, if you opt for a grey hexagonal floor tile as seen in our first pairing, try a rectangular marble tile for the backsplash. Both tiles feel distinct, but the veining in the marble ties in the grey of the floor tile. So, if you’re in the market for new tile, keep scrolling to see all of our kitchen tile combos!
