We’re so excited to share more from what is decidedly the sweetest space in The Cottage – The nursery bath! We were most excited to design this bathroom because we had just found out we were pregnant when we bought the house, and knew we wanted a space that felt extra special for little Ollie. It’s kid-friendly and combines a few of our favorite design elements in one cute nursery bath design. Keep scrolling to see and learn more about our selections from Kallista Plumbing to bring this space to life!
Bathroom Vanity
For the nursery bathroom vanity, we wanted a more traditional feel that felt really in-line with the cottage aesthetic of the rest of the home. The polished nickel Bellis faucet from Kallista was the perfect fit for the space, and we love the way it complements the rest of the design choices in the space. Mixed metals are one of our favorite ways to add visual interest to a bathroom design, so we contrasted the polished nickel plumbing with the cabinet hardware. A rectangular sink sits in a statement marble countertop. All in all, it’s a beautiful vanity that we hope Ollie will love using as he continues to grow!
Shower Tub
The nursery bath shower is one of our favorite design moments in the entire home. A zellige tile run diagonally up the shower walls adds so much depth to the space, and we love how the polished nickel plumbing fixtures compliment the warm tones in the tile.
The nursery bath tub is the only tub in the house, so we wanted to make it extra special! The soft lines in all of the bath and shower plumbing fixtures complement the traditional cottage aesthetic so well.
We hope you enjoyed this closer look at Ollie’s sweet nursery bath design. If you missed our deep dive into our own main bathroom, head there to see more design inspiration and selections.
