It’s time for the third and final part of our latest home reveal – Our beloved Port Newport project! For a peek inside the living spaces and bedrooms of this dreamy home, head to parts one and two to catch up. Today’s reveal focuses on all things coastal exterior design, and it’s a good one! One of the best parts of working on projects in California is taking advantage of the lovely weather year-round and creating beautiful outdoor spaces for our clients to enjoy. This Newport Beach home is no exception! With a front porch lounge area and the dreamiest backyard that’s perfect for outdoor entertaining, there’s so much to love about the exterior spaces at this project. So, without further ado, let’s get into it!
Front Exterior
The front exterior of this home is just plain pretty. From the whitewashed brick to the warm white siding, it’s bright and inviting. It’s one of our favorite examples of coastal exterior design! You know we love a Dutch door. There’s nothing better than opening up the top half to let in a breeze on those warm California summer days! However, our favorite part of this front exterior has to be the raised porch and lounge area with two sets of French doors that open into the living room inside. We can’t think of a better place to sip lemonade and watch the kids play in the front yard!
Back Exterior
The back exterior space in this project was designed for entertaining. With a separate lounge and dining area, it’s the perfect setup for an outdoor dinner party with family and friends. Both the kitchen nook and family room open up to the patio outside, leading to easy flow from the indoors out. We love how inviting these spaces are, and would love to spend hours on end in this backyard!
We hope you love these front and back exterior spaces at #mgdxportnewport as much as we do! Coming up next, we’ll be sharing all of the sources you need to recreate these outdoor spaces at home. In the meantime, head to our affiliate shop where we’re always sharing new outdoor finds. Thanks so much for following along with our latest project reveal!
