We’re officially more than halfway through our #mgdxwindward reveal! How are you feeling? We don’t know about you, but we just can’t get enough of this beautiful transitional family home. Speaking of family… Today we’re heading into the colorful kids’ spaces, and trust us when we say they are Cute with a capital C. From a playroom any kids would be lucky to hang out in to a fun Jack-and-Jack bathroom, let’s get into it!
Boys Suite 1
First up is the eldest boy’s room, with lots of sports-inspired details and plenty of built-in desk space for homework and after-school projects. We went with a masculine color palette in here with varying shades of grey, green, and black.
In the ensuite bathroom, we opted for neutral pattern play with geometric wallpaper and floor tile and fun decor prints in shades of black and white. A custom white oak vanity completes the space.
Girls Room
Next, let’s head into the pretty-in-pink girl’s room! We’d be lying if we didn’t say we dreamed about a bedroom like this when we were younger, and we know this is a space that this lucky girl will appreciate for years to come. An accent wall with dotted wallpaper ties in with a geometric brass pendant, and woven shades with a jute rug add some natural textures to the space.
A custom pink vanity steals the show in this bathroom space, complete with lots of brass details and a pretty marble shower. Swoon!
Jack & Jill Suite
You’ve heard of a Jack & Jill suite, but what about a Jack & Jack suite?! An ultra-fun bunk room is connected to an adventurous-themed boy’s room with a masculine black, white, and forest green bath. We used lots of fun patterns and unique paint colors throughout to make sure each space had its own point of view. Our clients love color and pattern, and it was so fun for us to incorporate them throughout the home!
Playroom
Okay, is this not the most fun playroom you’ve ever seen!? We can just imagine all of the sleepovers and game nights in this fun and inviting space. Custom built-in cabinetry creates lots of much-needed storage, and cozy floor lounge chairs and ottomans give us bean-bag-vibes in a (much) more elevated way.
Three down, one to go! We hope you enjoyed seeing the colorful kids’ spaces of the #mgdxwindward home – It’s been a fun one to share! Stay tuned for our next post where we’ll share all of the sources you need to recreate this spaces in your own home. In the meantime, head to our kiddos shop to find all the things we have in our carts right now for the little ones!
