Today on the blog, we’re revealing two neutral bedroom mood boards that we’re just smitten over, and would love to see recreated in a real space. From the exact paint colors and furniture picks, we’re sharing all of the details that go into an MGD bedroom design. So, keep scrolling for our neutral bedroom and grey bedroom designs, and shop your favorite products from each look!
Neutral Bedroom Mood Board
Our first bedroom mood board is a warm, creamy, neutral design that’s full of unique textures and cozy elements. We started this design around this intricate geometric rug in the prettiest ivory and sand hues. From there, an upholstered bed frame, a light oak dresser with unique lines, and a warm gray nightstand round out the furniture picks. It’s no secret that we love a bedside sconce, and this woven version is one of our all-time favorites. For paint colors, we chose Pashmina and Clay Beige by Benjamin Moore to complement the colors in the rug and furniture. Last but not least, white linen bedding and custom throw pillows using these swatches from Kerry Joyce Textiles and Chivasso would be the perfect finishing touches for this bedroom design. Grey Bedroom Mood Board
For our second bedroom mood board, we went for a similar neutral palette. However, this time we incorporated more warm gray hues and darker details for a moodier space. A vintage Persian area rug brings in the prettiest shade of blue. We love how it’s complemented by the blue-grey colors in the end-of-bed settee and bedside table lamp. A cool leather strap chair would look perfect perched in a corner for a bedroom reading nook, and light oak wood flooring pulls the design together. For this space, we opted for two of our favorite Benjamin Moore neutral shades – Swiss Coffee and Collingwood. Lastly, how fun would these Greige Textiles swatches be as accent pillows on the bed? Yes, please!
