If you’ve been loving our #MGDxInnerSunset project reveal as much as we have, today’s post is for you! We’re sharing all of the pretty details and sources that make up the entry, living room, kitchen, and dining room in this modern San Francisco home.
Our clients were drawn to more contemporary and modern lines for their furniture and decor. We love the way those elements play with the historical architecture and detailing throughout this early 1900s home. If you do too, then keep scrolling, and shop your favorite space below!
Entry
This entry was all about maximizing space. So, if you have a smaller entryway, this vignette would be perfect in your home! A narrow console table, statement mirror, and oversized basket create a beautiful and functional drop-off space as you walk in the home. Then, on the other side of the entry, a custom built-in is accented with an abstract art piece, printed pillows, and a vintage stool.

Living Room
This formal living room may be our favorite space in this home because of the color palette and overall feel! A custom linen upholstered sofa, nesting coffee tables, and a pair of black sling chairs create a cozy yet elevated seating area centered around a beautiful slab fireplace. Black consoles are decorated with some of our favorite collected finds. Lastly, the entire space is grounded with a cozy neutral area rug.

Kitchen
This kitchen space is equal parts elevated and playful, and we love how it turned out! A patterned kitchen runner rug and lots of layered textures add warmth to the space. Additionally, we also love the unlacquered brass hardware that adds a pretty pop of sheen!

Dining Room
This dining room design was centered around highlighting the beautiful built-ins. They’re original to the home from the early 1900s! A few of our favorite elements include the geode-inspired wallpaper, woven dining chairs, and that amazing statement chandelier. Shop it all below!
